Here I am in Alaska, arrived 22 years ago, 2002, my daughter followed a years later, 2003. My sons were 12 years old and turned 13, 2 months later. It was very hard for us in the beginning, knowing only one person. We met a wonderful lady, a church secretary. A good Christian woman. She helped get us a place and the help of all the agencies in the area. Our good Christian woman has now become our fantastic friend. Once we got on our feet by getting housing, food, and a vehicle, I started looking for work. With Lori’s help I got an interview with another church needing a secretary. She prepared me for what I might run into, what they may need, anything and everything she could think of to assist me into getting that position. It all worked out well as I got the position and stayed there for about a year. I got replaced with someone who could also do the secretary position and their books, accounting. If I had that knowledge I may have been able to stay at that job.

Tanya came up at that time with her 3 boys. We were again one big happy family. We have always been close, but we had missed each other so much, as did the boys. They had always been around each other, whether at school, being babysat by the same sitter, or living together. So it was great to have them here!
Tanya ended up finding work at a convenience store and I stayed home to take care of the boys.
My new family
My youngest twin, Cody, got a job at Wal-Mart and it was there that I met my latest and last 😂😂 husband. Upon meeting James, I inherited 3 more children, albeit adults but still my children. Alicia, Amy and Jason, with them 3 more grandchildren. So my life was getting fuller. We don’t have step anything in our household, we have our children. What’s mine are his and his are mine. We both have seen too many families that make the distinction of step or adopted, whatever the case may be for them. It never turns out good or right, or very rarely. So now it’s like The Brady Bunch! 😂😁😍 We have 3 boys and 3 girls together.

So for today that is all and I wish everyone a good night and sweet dreams!
