Deciding what to make?
Seems like forever ago I told momma that we needed to experiment at making donuts. Years ago I was introduced to this little bakery that made glazed donut holes and what they called peanut butter bow ties. Now understand that first of all I had really never heard of anyone making the glazed donut holes before. (Krispy Kreme was not as well known yet lol) Let me tell you that was heaven the first time I put one in my mouth! 😛 Then I tried the peanut butter bow tie donuts! OMG! They just were the best!
Well finally we decided to get to it! Momma gathered the ingredients and we got started making some donuts. 🤩
So the peanut butter donuts are the ones that we tried. However we have never made them before much less any kind of donut. 😄
Luckily momma has been making a lot of bread lately so she actually did most of the wor seeing as I’ve never made a thing in my life with yeast 😂😂
Surprisingly it went great! We couldn’t find any recipe for a glazed peanut butter donut so…… we winged it! 🤣😂 We made 3 plain glazed for dad, 3 sugar, and 9 glazed with peanut butter glaze.
They turned out looking wonderful! Now for the taste test! 🤣🤣 They were really good! They weren’t the same but they are definitely still a favorite! 😍 Mom and I only have tried a sugar peanut butter one but we plan on trying the other one later! I can’t wait to try one!!
