My Pretty girl
This is our girl Trouble. Now mind you her original name was PJ for pockets junior as she was named after her mother since they could be twins. However Miss PJ ended up Trouble (who we usually call trouble trouble). Why you ask? You guessed it!! 😂 Because she is always finding Trouble with a capital T. This beautiful girl started having ear infections a couple times a year. We discovered she has allergies😳 unbelievable right? I never realized that animals could have allergies until I had to deal with it. So now she has special food separate from the other dogs. That is just the first of many troubles that she has had to contend with besides getting in trouble!
2 Years later
Unfortunately that wasn’t the end. My pretty girl had a seizure. 😢Of course, we immediately had her seen at Wasilla Vet clinic where we have gone for all of our animals for many years now. Trouble would eventually have a seizure about every 3 months. The vet was so good with her but she ended up needing medication.
She scares me so much when she has one as it feels like it lasts forever and even after it’s over she can’t settle. It seems like she is just wired, jittery, and shaky.
Fourteen months ago
She was doing really well and the medication had taken the seizures to about 2 or 3 a year instead of 4 or more. The approximately 14 months ago he had what is called a cluster seizure. This is where there is multiple seizures one after another. She had 3 that night. Scared us something fierce I tell you. This time when we called the vet to notify them of another incident she had to be seen again. This was more serious and Trouble had to have a 2nd medication. So now that’s 2 she takes for her seizures.
Today
We went 14 months seizure free but early yesterday morning she had another one. I’m heartbroken as I was so hoping she wouldn’t have to go through another one. On the plus side it only lasted a few seconds and she didn’t stay all jittery and jumpy for but a few minutes after. My beautiful brave little girl is so amazing though!! She is so silly and fun.
