So giving a shout out to our babies! When we have animals they re our babies! For us we have a total of 11 dogs, 10 cats, a rabbit, and 4 ducks! YES we are crazy! 😂😅😂😅 However, they bring immense joy to our lives. They are constantly making us laugh. They give us such LOVE and have in my opinion saved my life!
Our babies have no manners, bark their fool heads off at even he shadow of a leaf blowing by, and just overall goofball! A few years ago I was going through a very rough time and they were why I didn’t just give up. I was to the point that I just felt like I didn’t want to exist. I am by no means a doctor but I did end up consulting one. Between that and having the dogs is what saved my life.
Believe it or not I couldn’t get it out of my head that I took on the responsibility of caring for this crew and felt that I was obligated to continue taking care of them. They were depending on me and I couldn’t let them down. Now understand my children were grown and had their own lives so they didn’t depend on me and could survive without me. The days couldn’t and they wouldn’t be able to understand if I had sent them away to other homes.
Because of that I bought the home I’m in, I’ve had people living with me so they wouldn’t be alone all day while I’m at work, and why I schedule my life around them. I might have thought that they were dependent upon me but in actuality I realized that I was dependent upon them. They became my reason to keep going and not give up. They became my lifeline.
Now after starting with 1 dog we have grown to 11 dogs, the 10 cats, the rabbit, and the ducks. They still give me lots of reasons to get up in the morning but more importantly I love every single one with all my heart! The dogs and cats make me laugh every single day!
